We have taken extraordinary measures in the design and construction of the St. Lewis River Lodge as a fitting tribute to this incredible river and world class Atlantic salmon resource.The first documentation of angling on the St. Lewis River is by Captain George Cartwright in 1771. 

Accommodation

Atlantic Rivers Outfitting Company has paired one of the most spectacular Atlantic salmon angling locations with the construction of a world-class Lodge. The facility blends traditional New Hampshire white pine log construction with classic lodge finishes from around the world.

The Lodge has six private suites, each with large en-suites and closets. Propane fireplaces made of hand hewn local stone provide warmth in each suite. Guests can view the river and valley through floor to ceiling windows from the comfort of the quarter sawn oak king size beds adorned with Egyptian cotton sheets and feather duvets.

The main lodge has a large gathering salon punctuated by a wood burning fireplace made of local stone from this riverbank site.

The dining area adjoins the gathering salon, both of which have commanding views overlooking the river and Falls. The kitchen also overlooks the river and has island bar for guests wishing to enjoy an early or late breakfast or to simply learn a few culinary tips from our Red Seal chef.

Our Cuisine

The balanced creativity of the chef produces a well-blended menu of local and exotic cuisine. Local dish choices include moose, cod, halibut, scallops, lobster and wild  berries merged with international flare and diversity will tempt and delight. Guests will thoroughly enjoy the relaxed atmosphere of the Lodge dining room but can also take advantage of the staff’s resourcefulness in a magnificent or traditional shore lunch on the river.
